Our Certifications
_SQNPI Certification by Minister of Agriculture thanks to our sustainable approach in the vineyards and of winery.
_We were the first Sicilian winery to receive the EMAS 3 Certification for the entire production cycle.
_We received the UNI-EN ISO 14001 Certificate thanks to the environmentally friendly wine process.
_We are certified by EQUALITAS, which champions sustainability through a framework built upon three core pillars: social, environmental, and economic.
_We use organic method against harmful insects by limiting reproduction through the use of pheromones (sexual confusion technique).
_We use copper and sulfur treatments instead of synthetic chemicals.
_We use cover crops as natural fertilization and natural habitat for virtuous bugs.
_We have 9 artificial lakes that hold 1,000,000 mq of rain and recycled water.
_We have adopted sub-irrigation systems, progressively replacing drip systems to minimize water waste.
_We have an advanced water purification plant to process wastewater.
_We produce 1.100.000 kw per year by its own solar panels.
_We are 2/3 energetically self-sufficient.
